“Assawompset Library Book Acquisition” is a program that gives you the opportunity to purchase a book or books to donate to the Assawompset School Library and have that book dedicated to a teacher, family member, child or a person of your choice.

This successful General Mills program earns our school 10 cents per box top.  In past years, we have earned thousands, enough to purchase play ground equipment and other supplies for our school.  Check out the website for all the different fun label projects they have featured!

During one of the last school days in June, volunteers organize a fun, non-competitive day filled with games, races and refreshments

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  Students sell wrapping paper and gift items.  Money earned supports field trips for all grades.

A holiday gift shop provides students the opportunity to buy inexpensive yet thoughtful gifts for their families and friends.

Incoming students familiarize themselves with classroom, and even sample a bus ride.  Parents attend an informational presentation.  Volunteers provide tours of the school and help in the classrooms.

A week of special breakfasts, lunches and giveaways is provided to show the staff how much we appreciate their hard work.

Adults only enjoy a night out socializing.  It could be a Bunco party, mall/dinner trip, or even theatre.

A full one year calendar with illustrations from as many Assawompset students as possible.  School events are highlighted, and you can even include your child’s birthday!

A directory lists students enrolled at Assawompset including name, address, phone number, parents names, grade and teacher.  Inclusion is voluntary.  It’s a great tool for invitations, and to hook up with classmates.
