Homework Page
Homework is graded on a scale of 1 to 4.
4: Complete heading, in pencil, on time, all work shown, mostly correct
3: Incomplete / missing heading or done in pen
2. Work not shown, more than half wrong, incomplete heading and done in pen
1. Combinations of above items
Homework is assigned to see if students understand the topic being covered or for practice. Homework not done correctly may be redone for full credit. Homework handed in late with an acceptable excuse, signed by a parent/guardian will also be given full credit.
- I usually assign homework four times a week. It should not take more than about one half an hour if the student is working steadily. Often it will be less, just a few problems to make sure they understand the work or practice and review.
